Emily Davis Adams (born in San Francisco, CA) has developed her art practice in Brooklyn, NY and the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work draws on personal history, art history, and environmental history. Adams majored in studio art at UCLA’s School of Art and Architecture, received a BS in environmental policy from UC Berkeley, and an MFA from the New York Academy of Art. Her work has been included in exhibitions in New York, Ontario, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

It’s an honor to be included in an exhibition honoring Katherine Sherwood‘s work as an artist and educator at University of California, Berkeley. A group of paintings will be on view alongside a selection of other former students and Katherine’s own retrospective exhibition, Oct 19-Nov4, Worth Ryder Art Gallery, Kroeber Hall, UC Berkeley.
